While walking around North Bridge Road, my sister and I discovered another hidden gem
- Tipo Pasta Bar! From the outside, it already look aesthetically pleasing (good for instagram shot)

Tipo Pasta Bar is about the celebration of artisanal produce – the pasta at Tipo are handcrafted using high quality ingredients and the re-imagination of how flavours can be combined and elevated using its surrounding elements. The permutations of pasta and flavours such as Dill & Lemon Fettuccine and Saffron Fusilli are among many others that are made from scratch.
Handcrafted pasta? Count me in!
I have always admire people who is able to make their own pasta from scratch. I tried to do that during Food & Nutrition class back in Secondary School, and I failed miserably.

The staffs presented the pasta of the day on at tray. These are the pastas available for us to try it out. If I am not wrong, they serve different pastas on different days. My sister decided to lean with chilli lime fusilli while I go for sage onion mafalde (at first I was skeptical because I usually consume plain pasta). We decided on trying out the pre-set meals instead of creating our own pasta dish.

Creamy Chicken Mushroom - $14.90
Includes alfredo, pasta, white button mushroom, chicken breast
If you know me well, you know that I looooove mushrooms. The taste of chicken and mushroom is very rich and sauce is a bit faint when it comes to taste (personally I felt that they put less sauce which I dislike but thankfully the mushroom and chicken substitutes the taste of the pasta).

Prawn Aglio - $15.90
includes aglio olio, pasta, prawns, sous vide egg
My sister tried this pasta and she is satisfied with the taste. She recapped that the aglio olio is rich in taste and its worth the amount she paid.
Note: ALL PASTAS SERVED ARE 100g

Tiramisu Cake - $8.90
A rich treat blending the bold flavors of cocoa and espresso with mascarpone cheese and ladyfinger biscuits
My sister bought this after we ate because she wants to try their dessert. For me it was 'meh' because I'm not a fan of cakes but the taste is quite alright, similar to normal tiramisu cakes I have tried.
The Verdict? Reviews online give them 4.2/ 5 stars but for me I will stick to 4/5 stars. The food is delicious and fulfilling. For desserts wise, I do not think it is worth the price point. I appreciate the food more knowing that it's handmade but the price point can be pricey. And in future, if any of you are interested to try out Tipo, remember to book a reservation because it's always full!
