DIY Art Box Ideas

My Journey into the World of Clay Making and DIY Art Boxes:

Last year, I was unexpectedly introduced to the fascinating world of clay making. My TikTok FYP was flooded with videos from various art studios offering classes in pottery making, trinket dish making, clay painting, and more. This surge of creative inspiration led me to wonder: what if I started making DIY Art Boxes?

While doing some spring cleaning in my room, I found myself rummaging through a clutter of stationary supplies. To my surprise, I discovered an abundance of paints, palettes, and brushes – all remnants from the art activities I had organised for my students. These leftover materials sparked an idea: why not repurpose them into art boxes?

Thus began my exciting new venture into creating DIY Art Boxes, turning forgotten supplies into a source of creativity and joy for others.

Please let me know if these ideas sound good. I'm considering expanding into other types of boxes.

Box #2:

- Air-dry clay. Instead of a canvas, this box will include a packet of air-dry clay. Consumers can use the clay to create anything they want and then paint it with the provided materials.

Box #3:

- Colourful air-dry clay. Inspired by the recent TikToks of couples doing clay dates, this box will feature colourful air-dry clay and include photo ideas for fun projects consumers can create with their clay.

These are my current ideas for DIY boxes. However, I have a few questions:

1. How do I market this effectively?

2. How can I promote this with my limited circle of friends?

3. Should I use platforms like Carousell, Shopee, or TikTok Live to sell?

I'm excited about venturing into this hobby, but I'm also nervous about taking the first step. Please pray for me.
