You may be wondering, what the heck is Pink Salad Ldn? Well.. Pink Salad Ldn is an independent vegan cosmetics company in United Kingdom (hence London as Ldn).

How did I discover them? Tik Tok. Yes, you heard me right. I spent my sleepless night scrolling through Tik Tok videos and stumbled upon one of their lip gloss-in-the-making video. Not only that, lip gloss is becoming a trend even on Tik Tok where people would make their own lip glosses from home and sell it online.

All our products are vegan, gluten free, and cruelty free. Our long wearing lip glosses are highly moisturising and non-sticky, with Vitamin E oil to repair and hydrate lips. You can go clear as day, gets shimmery, or add a pop of colour with our pigmented or glittery gloss.

The founder, Ms Stacy Amorris, also have her own Youtube Account where she share some cosmetic tips as well as how to use her brand's DIY lip gloss kit. She also showcase her company's growth as Pink Salad Ldn started from home and it has since expanded to a factory.

I have been using liquid lipstick on an every day basis now but since my lip is starting to get dry and flaky, I shall switch to lip gloss because why not?

I scrolled through their website and got myself 1 lip gloss and 1 set of fruit mini glosses. Each products are made with natural ingredients and it is listed on the product description. Since I spent over £10, I received a free chocolate lip scrub. International shipping cost additional £10.95 so in total I had to pay £21.10 in total so it is $36.64 Singapore Dollars.

Interesting fact: From an Insider article (Jan 3, 2020), it states that "Pink Salad Ldn makes lip glosses with biodegradable glitter, which breaks down and is safer for the environment than traditional cosmetic glitter." It's amazing how Ms Amorris is trying to be more environmentally friendly when it comes to creating her products for consumers.

Poison Apple Tube Lip Gloss

This beautiful red strawberry scented lip gloss will colour the lips evenly to give a high shine look. Contains Vitamin E and Coconut Oil, is super hydrating and goes on super smooth. 8ml tube with doe foot applicator.

As you can see, I swatched the gloss onto my hand and it gives a shiny reddish colour. This lip gloss is very lightweight and swatch wise, it glides on easily. Not very pigmented as I expected (based on the photo I saw on the website) but it does gives off the the glossy look. I apply this on top of my red lipstick to make it look like its very pigmented and I'm loving it <3

Mini Fruit Lip Gloss Set

This mini lip gloss collection has 6 of the Clear Fruit Tube Glosses, so you can choose how you want to smell everyday! Each gloss has a different colour so you can identify the flavour, and they all apply clear. Each is a 1.2ml tube with doe-foot applicator.

My favourite lip gloss purchase and look at how adorable and tiny it is on my hand!!!!! Different coloured tubes have different scents - cherry, apple, peach, raspberry, pineapple and blueberry. Even though it's coloured, they are actually clear glosses.

Currently, I'm using the clear gloss which is peach scented and I love the smell of it. I usually apply lip gloss on top of my lipstick. It is not sticky, it's smooth and glides on easily. The best part? It's very tiny that I can keep it in my wallet/ pocket and re-apply it whenever I want.

Chocolate Lip Scrub

Exfoliating is an unmissable step in the quest for smooth lips. This Pink Himalayan Salt and Brown Sugar blend is a perfect consistency to keep your lips looking good, whilst also being gentle on the skin. Scrub Away. 30ml, 40g.

I received this as a freebie for purchasing more than £10. When I first received it, the top layer is 'melted' (since its shipped from UK all the way to Singapore) and wet so I placed it in the fridge so that it sticks as the texture shown on the right. This is my second lip scrub I have used and I love this product! It works the same as my Jeffree Star's lip scrub and the chocolate scent makes it all the more fun to apply it. After using this scrub, my lip is more smooth and hydrating and I noticed less cracks after using it for 3 weeks (I apply scrub twice a week).

The verdict? 10/10 would re-purchase from Pink Salad Ldn. Maybe I should explore their other products (such as their lip oil hydrators and glitter/ glow gloss). It's my first time supporting a small brand since I found her from Tik Tok. Would recommend everyone to try out their products, especially their clear fruit glosses because it's worth every penny I've spent.
